Atlanta Women in Sports is committed to promoting and advocating for girls to participate in sports. Our initiative, "Girls In Sports," empowers girls through sports and helps build self of esteem, confidence, character, and strong work ethic. In addition, we help to introduce girls to non-traditional sports and support girls' athletic programs.

 

In the summer of 2020, 15 NAIA colleges added women's flag football to their athletic programs. Joelle Jarrett is amongst the first to receive a partial women's flag football scholarship to Reinhardt University. Women's flag football,  is the newest sport to be introduced at Reinhardt University Athletics and will open its inaugural slate of games in the spring of 2023.
