Social Media Internship

The social media intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the social media team with brainstorming campaigns. To be successful as a social media intern, you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms. 

Social Media Intern Responsibilities:

  • Manages the AWIS's social media accounts and posts content.

  • Brainstorms campaign ideas.

  • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.

  • Understands the overall concept of the AWIS, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.

  • Provide suggestions to management for improving AWIS audience experience on social platforms and internal processes.

  • Assists in creating performance reports.

 

Content Creator Internship

Content creators develop and promote AWIS's videos for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. In addition, they create both written and verbal media for private and public consumption.

Content Creator Intern Responsibilities:

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for AWIS websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.

  • Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter and then contextualize your findings.

  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.

  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions, and promote company initiatives.

  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

  • Monitoring social media and company website metrics.

  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.

 

Administrative Assistant Internship

The administrative assistant intern will provide administrative and clerical support to front office staff, focusing on assisting the CEO. Strong communication skills and strong typing skills are preferred.

Administrative Assistant Intern Responsibilities:

  • General clerical support

  • Letter writing

  • Email follow-ups

  • Update excel spreadsheets

  • Take meeting notes

  • Other duties as assigned
