ATLANTA WOMEN IN SPORTS

Atlanta Women In Sports (AWIS) salutes and honors Atlanta businesswomen who are blazing trails and redefining the position of "sports executives and athletes." In addition, AWIS provides a platform and networking opportunities for women to connect and engage with other professionals who carry a similar passion for the business of sports.​

Atlanta Women In Sports was founded in 2016 by a former collegiate athlete and sports industry professional, Erika Mitchell, who noticed the lack of women in top leadership positions in the sports industry and set out to change that reality for her daughter's generation.
