Atlanta Women In Sports (AWIS) celebrates and honors Atlanta’s trailblazing businesswomen who are redefining the roles of sports executives and athletes.
Founded in 2016 by Erika Mitchell, a former collegiate athlete and sports industry professional, AWIS aims to address the under representation of women in top leadership positions within the sports industry. Driven by a vision to create change for future generations, AWIS provides a platform for women to connect, network, and engage with like-minded professionals who share a passion for the business of sports, fostering a community of empowerment and opportunity.
